2018 IIHF World Junior Championships

We are just under 1 week away from the largest and most popularized international hockey tournament outside of the Olympics. The 2018 World Junior Championships are taking place in Buffalo, NY and the world's eyes are on Team USA as they shoot for back to back gold medals.

The main event of the tournament however, is not even the medal rounds, but the first ever outdoor game in tournament history, being played between Team USA and Team Canada, at New Era Field (Home of the Buffalo Bills - NFL) The outdoor game is on Friday, December 29th at 3pm, but weather permitting, the game could end up being played at night. 

All games will be broadcast on the NHL Network.
